You vs You

It measures you against yourself, and nobody else.

There is no leaderboard of students, no ranking against your friends, and no way for another student to see your record. The only comparison Playbook 23 makes is between you last month and you this month.

  1. Log what you did

    An entry takes a few seconds: which pillar, what it was, when. Add a note if you want one. A partial profile is fine — no feature demands more than it needs.

  2. See exactly why the number moved

    Every change to your Score shows the entries that caused it. The same record always produces the same Score. Nothing is hidden, weighted in secret, or personalised behind your back.

  3. Watch the month build

    Scores reset monthly so a slow start is never permanent, and every previous month is kept so your progress stays visible. Streaks and milestones are yours once earned.

The four pillars

A person is more than a transcript.

Most systems that measure students record one dimension well and ignore the rest. Playbook 23 gives four of them equal weight, because the interesting part of a young person's development is usually the part nobody was writing down.

Academics

Coursework, tests, projects, competitions, and the study habits behind them. What you learned, not only what you were graded on.

Athletics

Training, trials, matches, personal bests and the sessions nobody watched. Progress counts even when the result did not go your way.

Character

Service, leadership, showing up for other people, and the things you did when there was nothing in it for you.

Growth

Goals you set yourself, habits you kept, skills you picked up, and the streaks that prove you kept going.

Our commitments

What Playbook 23 will never do.

This list is the product, as much as anything above it. Several of these are architectural — the capability does not exist in the system, so it cannot be switched on later by someone in a hurry. All of them are written into our Privacy Policy as binding commitments, not marketing.

  • No advertisingNot to students, not to parents, not at any age or tier. We do not use anyone's information to target, serve or measure an ad.
  • Nothing is soldWe do not sell personal information or share it with data brokers, ad networks or social platforms. We never have.
  • Nothing costs anythingNo fees, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no virtual currency. There is no payment anywhere in Playbook 23.
  • No AI trainingYour record, your notes and your photos are never used to train or fine-tune a model, by us or by anyone else.
  • No biometricsNo voiceprint, faceprint or facial template is ever created. We run no facial or voice recognition anywhere in the service.
  • No chat, no photo sharingStudents cannot contact one another through Playbook 23. There is no messaging feature to misuse.
  • No public profileNothing is visible to search engines, nothing is public, and no recruiter or scout receives student information.
  • No trackingNo cross-app tracking, no continuous location, no profiling. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics either.

Two ways to use it

You can start on your own. A parent is optional.

If you are 13 to 17 you can register by yourself and keep a complete record. Some features stay switched off until a parent or guardian joins — not to nag you into it, but because each of those features involves another person seeing you, or a photo, or a place.

On your own

Independent Student

A complete product, not a trial. We do not degrade it over time, put it behind a countdown, or keep asking.

  • Your full Development Record across all four pillars
  • Your Score, and the explanation of every change
  • Goals, milestones and streaks
  • A copy of your own record, emailed to you
  • Add your school and count toward its group totals
  • Photo or location proof for an entry
  • Someone else backing up or recognising an entry
  • Team and organization connections
With a parent

Supported Student

A parent or guardian registers, is verified as an adult, and agrees to features one at a time. You keep your own controls, and you are told what they can see.

  • Everything in the Independent tier
  • Photo and location evidence, destroyed once checked
  • Corroboration and recognition from another person
  • Team and organization connections your parent approves
  • Sending your profile somewhere, with approval
  • Parental oversight tools — and a notice to you that they are on

Saying no costs you nothing. Declining anything optional never reduces a Score, removes a milestone or breaks a streak. That is written into our Terms, not just promised here.

For parents and guardians

Oversight, without surveillance.

You can review the record, correct it, control every connection and set time limits. What you cannot do is watch invisibly — your child is always told the link exists and shown exactly what you can see. We think that is the only version of oversight that works for a teenager.

If your child registered on their own, you can claim it. We confirm with them, verify you, then link — and we never link on an assertion alone.

They always know

We do not offer covert monitoring. If the oversight you have ever expands, your child is told again.
